2015 civic si
2015 civic si
i have a 9th gen si with a ktuned CAI and a full skunk 3in ... exhaust. i tried both the stock reflash and the map tune ( which all said for 2012-2014 none said 2015) i noticed a bit of a difference but i am brand new to the whole tuning thing so i was wondering if anyone would have a recomendation or a map for me to use? i took a recording of the datalog for the two rides that i did testing them if that is of use. Thanks

Re: 2015 civic si
Welcome to the forum,
It's ok that the calibration said 2012-2014 the file can still be used on a 2015. Any calibration you choose will need adjustments as no two cars are the same. Select a basemap that is closes to your modes, Switch it to run on speed density and dial it in.
If you post the calibration files you ran with their corresponding datalogs, I can take a look at them.

Re: 2015 civic si
Thank you for that info, Ed. I was quite curious why there was no 2015. I will get you some datalogs as soon as I can I appreciate your offer to look at them that is very generous. The calibration that is the closest match to my car lowered my vtec engagement way down (like 3-4k rpm) I immediately stopped driving and switched to the map tune just because I didn’t understand it and I really don’t want to mess my car up. I will get you a log on that tune though. Any specific ways I should drive to give you the best info? I’m guessing hard pulls but I would like to know I’m safe to do that with the low vtec point. I’m apologize for my ignorance and appreciate your guidance.

Devin,
Normal driving is ok. I just want to make sure you’re running safe.

Re: 2015 civic si
so i found a map that is closer to what i have. sri intake not rbc so i will log some drives with that and post them tomorrow. also, how do i switch the tune to run on speed density? i scrolled though the calibration window and i could not seem to find it. thanks again
Re: 2015 civic si
i would also like to get your venmo if you can get this dialed in for me. i have not been able to find a good dyno tuner near me so having someone knowledgeable as you to help me with learning and tuning my build as it progresses would be great and i would be more than happy to provide some financial compensation for your time and advice.

Navigate to the fuel section and check the "Use map fuel tables" boxdwright17 wrote: Sun Oct 08, 2023 7:25 pm so i found a map that is closer to what i have. sri intake not rbc so i will log some drives with that and post them tomorrow. also, how do i switch the tune to run on speed density? i scrolled though the calibration window and i could not seem to find it. thanks again

Re: 2015 civic si
so here is a screenshot of the map i used and the datalog for my drive. felt okay. idle felt a bit odd and i felt a huge power spike on that one hardish pull i did toward the end

I revised this calibration.dwright17 wrote: Mon Oct 09, 2023 3:28 pm i attached another drive i did along with the actual calibration file
The car is running very lean. I added fuel to all the tables.
Load the revised file and create a normal drive log.

Re: 2015 civic si
I cleaned the fuel a bit more. When I increased the fuel it was a broad change to all the tables. This made it run rich at idle. This could explain the surging.
