The new 5 tune selectable feature
Do you have to keep the flashpro connected to the car to change the tunes or is it stored once you’ve flashed the car.
Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
These are not related to the FlashPro being plugged in. These are settings in the calibration you upload to the ECU.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
So it’s only boost by gear and traction control settings. Changing the boost would require different maf scaling for fuel and knock ignition limits to reduce the risk of knock. Will these be available to change with each boost map soon?
Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
Changing the boost pressure should have no effect on a properly tuned MAF.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
Naw it makes a huge difference. With the torque limited feature where you can set the torque limit for comfort and sport mode it creates problems. A long time ago I asked if you guys could make a second maf scaling available. If I tuned the maf to the limited torque table when I went sport mode that had the higher boost and torque limit the car would start to lean on the L trim. So then I tried scaling the maf to the high boost level, but once the sport mode was turned off and the car went back to the torque limited low boost the scaling of the maf was too rich.
Plus you you have to agree that changing the boost does require resetting the timing. I don’t see why it would be so difficult to do. The S300 had dual mapping for fuel, timing and everything else when you had a switch connected to one of the openings in the harness.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
Changing boost levels does not require changes to the AFM or ignition timing tables.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
so i tried using this feature and its bugging out. its jumping from tune to tune. it was set to tune table 2 but as you can see from the log it jumps from 2 to 5 to 3 etc.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
The actually tune is not datalogged - the behavior you are seeing is a display bug tracing the boost by gear table which we will fix.
Live tuning should be switched off when not used.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
Also the car was full throttle when I did the two sets of pulls on the datalog but I only got like 40-45% instead of 100% the car built boost up to 4 psi then dropped to -4 then ramped back up. I reverted back to my previous to before using the multi tune and the car ran perfectly.
I’ll turn off the live tune. But something was wrong. I’ll try again today and if it comes back the same results I’ll post them.

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
Also why was the Tracing jumping from table to table? They have different boost levels from one another?

Hey guys the multi tune still isn’t working for me.Hondata wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 9:02 am The actually tune is not datalogged - the behavior you are seeing is a display bug tracing the boost by gear table which we will fix.
Live tuning should be switched off when not used. Your turbo is lazy or there is a boost leak.
Does one boost by gear table over ride the other?

Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
The quick edit boost by gear table in the calibration tab is superseding the multi tune boost by gear table. So in order to get the multi tune table to function properly do I have to set the boost under the calibration tab to a specific setting? Also the tracing is still fucked up and jumping from map 1-5. This time there wasn’t any drivability issues like last time.
Re: The new 5 tune selectable feature
We've fixed the tracing for the tune for next release. This is a display only problem - it does not affect how the car runs.
The boost by gear quick select changes the first tune table. We're not going to change this behavior.
