Hondata app reads ect up to 160 then stops

Post by Turbosol »

I just downloaded the hondata app and I love it, however I noticed on my coolant temp it reads fine and increases up to 160 but once it reaches that temp it stays locked there as if can't read higher, any ideas why? The temp gauge on my cluster looks normal (not reading cold).

Have you checked the settings for that sensor?

What vehicle are you referring to?

I'm not sure how to check the settings, would that be in the hondata app or in the manager?

The car is a del sol with b18c, p72 ecu with hondata s300 v3.

Update: I found the sensor settings in the hondata app, coolant temp sensor 1 and 2 are both set at min 0 and max 300 (imperial) and ect correction is -100 and 100 respectively.

I don't have a laptop unfortunately, I would have to haul my desktop out to my shop to try it, but I noticed the other day it's reading to 175 now then stops, I have no idea what changed I think it was right after I tried switching to bt 3.0 but that might be a coincidence.
