Modified Alternator

I have a Kswapped/Kpro'd street car (Insight) and a 320a Mechman alternator for my stereo system. I had it modified including one wire turn on. My question is about leaving the original plug disconnected since the original 4wire plug is deleted. I'm not worried about the alt warning light since I have a permanent voltage gauge but will this cause a CEL? I know there are race cars with no alternators but having trouble connecting the dots. Any help appreciated.

No, you can leave the ALTC disconnected and the ECU does not care.
