K-PRO 65086
37820-PRB-A06
kmanager 4.5.6
unable to upload calibration (Kpro is registered)
RSX typeS engine harness modified with CSS plug, RDX injector plugs, extended alternator harness
7/25/23 from Full Throttle Parts And Performance
No check engine light when ignition in second position, no "ignition on" in kmanager. Previous ecu was damaged trying to fix a map sensor wiring issue with old engine harness but motor did run. previous ecu was tested and check engine light came on. fi/em fuse in engine bay fuse box is good and related cabin fuses also good. When bench powered at Full Throttle kpro green led lit until connected to computer then flashes red.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
kmanager online but no "ignition on"
Re: kmanager online but no "ignition on"
Have you tried the ECU in a known working vehicle to see if the problem follows the ECU?
Re: kmanager online but no "ignition on"

Re: kmanager online but no "ignition on"
As this K-Pro was sold as an install kit to Full Throttle Parts, they will need to take a look at this. If the ECU is damaged again then they should be able to install the K-Pro into a working ECU. You also would need to determine what is damaging the ECU's in this vehicle.
Re: kmanager online but no "ignition on"
OK will do, as for the damaged ecu, the car had a "tucked" engine harness that has been replaced because it was hackwork so just threw the whole thing out pretty much and got a rsx type s oem harness that we then modified to add the necessary plugs css, alternator and injectors was the only thing modified on the rsx type s harnesSpunkster wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 1:09 pm As this K-Pro was sold as an install kit to Full Throttle Parts, they will need to take a look at this. Re: kmanager online but no "ignition on"
The ECU itself was the issue. Got a replacement ECU and put the kpro in it then everything worked fine, check engine light came on, uploaded a tune and a bit of starter fluid now the motor starts right up. Thanks for the help.
