Hey guys, so I’m working on my buddies type r.
I register and lock the flash pro no problem.
I go to jail break, and it says not jailbroken, but it has the check mark for registered but Vin it has an X, and is all grayed/frozen like ( picture attached )
I’m curious to what is needed to get this jailbroken as I can proceed with out it taking vin up.

Could it be flashpro needs to be unlocked from car?

The red X by the VIN means nothing other than the FlashPro is not seeing the vehicle ECU. It is not because it may be locked.
What year is the vehicle? Does the FlashPro see the ECU with the ignition on?

It’s weird because it does connect to the ECU. As I tried uploading a tune, but it backed out and failed because it needs to be jailbroken.
In the flash Pro history, it recognizes the car vin.
The flash pro is able to see the car, but I’m unable to go through the jailbreaking process.

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

I will do that tomorrow as well phone you guys.
The issue is exactly the flashpro has tried to upload a tune without it be in jail broken, so I returned the ECU back to stock. It’s registered and locked to the car. I go to the jail break tab and I am not able to proceed with the process of buying the jail break as it’s not pulling the Vin up.
My question would be do I return the flashpro back to the original state as if it’s never been plugged into a car. And try plugging it in and going right to the jail break and going through those steps.
Rather going to the registration tab before.
And just have everything back to normal and plug in and go right to the jailbreaking tab. Which, with first start off with registering, and then it hopefully successfully picking up the vin. As I cannot copy and paste it. And then be able to purchase and get the code and jailbreak.
My process has been to register it and walk it to the ECU so I should skip that and go to jailbreak tab in flashpro and do everything there?
