B18B1 turbo.

Post by logan50096 »

I have 2 datalogs on 2 different maps. One based off of the revhard turbo setup base calibration already added to hondata, as well as the stock p74 calibration so it can maybe give more insight. Ive messed around with dead times and fuel trim several times but to say that I know what im doing is going to cause me to detonate this motor. Looking for a little insight and help.
Car is ek hatch with B18B1 swap, car has stock motor and internals, a brand new 70mm throttle body, a 57 trim ebay turbo, stock fpr, aftermarket bull boost fuel rail, 550cc Injectors, and a 255lph fuel pump.

I must note the car is running good but im unsure of my wideband operating correctly. It constantly sits at 10.0 flat until revving out to about 3k where its jumped all the way to 15.4. I also have not taken this car out onto the road if thats something need to be done to retrieve a better datalog just let me know. Seriously if anyone can help out youll make my life a million times easier. I dont care to make crazy numbers just wanna have it get to the dyno and be tested under some load. THANK YOU AND HAPPY 4TH!

Welcome to the forum,

Have you reached out to your tuner to see if they can provide a basemap to get you to the dyno?

I have reached out to a few shops but some are unwilling to give me a basemap and not sell it separately or if they are they are charging a ridiculous amount I don't really have to dyno the car.
I want to take it a dyno but I also have the need to move about 15 miles and cant trailer the car. I know it seems far fetched but the locality of shops willing to send me a basemap free of charge are really pricey and way more worth it to just trailer the car there.
Really new to this stuff and not even sure if everything is correctly working, but the car runs and the hondata logs.

Oh ok. I asked about the tuner's basemap in case that was a better option.

Its best practice to start with a stock base calibration so you know the exact edits that have been done. I looked over the files and they look a bit weird. Its seems like it stops dataloging then it abruptly starts dataloging. I also noted that the TPS was not calibrated. It is suppose to read 0 at idle.

All that was posted where datalogs and none of the files where actual calibration files.

The Rev hard calibration might be closer to your mods. Calibrate the TPS and save the file. Redatalog the the car with the TPS calibrated file.

Post both the calibration file and the datalog.
