k24a 3584 Basemap Help
Wondering if someone can assist met with setting up a base map to get me started, car was previously running on e70 with a 125 shot of nitrous, just went turbo. Have it running on the current map to move it on/off the trailer, but looking for a base map with ignition and fuel tables built out. I'm familiar with some aspects of tuning, making small adjustments, but not building out the tables from scratch. Current map is attached, which I would like to use as a starting point, I've updated injector size/dead times, map sensor to 4 bar, etc.
Car Details:
MR2 Spyder
Kpro V4
k24a 50 degree vtc
PRB oil pump
Stock Cams
3584 RS Gen 3
2200 cc EV1s
525 Hellcat Pump on a relay
-6 feed and return, 50 psi base pressure
e70 w/ ethanol sensor, but always mix to e70

Added some fuel and retarded timing using the boost table creation function vs what they were, along with updating some boost cut settings in the attached kal, so probably a better starting point vs the kal attached in the original post.

Got the car to idle, but might have a vacuum leak I need to track down. Adjusted low speed cam fuel table at idle, updated Kal and Log attached. It needed a lot more fuel for some reason, originally was idling around 17:1, got it to idle closer to 14:1, but idle is a bit rough, does anyone see anything in the logs?

I see that I have a MIL light on, but no code. Tried clearing DTCs, Erase ECU(clear security) and re-uploaded MAP, still seeing MIL on with no code. Also tried disconnecting battery, let it sit for a minute, reconnected and same issue.

Nice build. I enjoy tuning k swapped cars. It’s the new version of the GM LS. Ideally you want to start with a new calibration file as you can end up chasing your tail.
I will take a look at the logs and let you what I see.
Do you plan to get this car tuned in the future or are you trying to make the current file work for the new setup?

Thanks, I plan to get it tuned in the future, but just want to be able to drive it a bit prior to doing so. Driving conservatively prior to getting it tuned.
Re: k24a 3584 Basemap Help
I realized the MIL is related to a new Low/High boost switch I recently installed, using e29 SCS pin. When I set it to low boost SCS and MIL are on, when I turn to high boost SCS and MIL turn off. I imagine I need to invert the output? Should SCS be on when I'm in high boost?

The TPS is reading 1% at idle. Make sure to re-calibrate the TPS and then re-log the car. The car will not idle well if the TPS is not readin 0%.jtrue wrote: Thu Jun 15, 2023 7:31 pm Got the car to idle, but might have a vacuum leak I need to track down. You have to test the switch and invert the signal if needed. This might help.jtrue wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2023 2:12 pm I realized the MIL is related to a new Low/High boost switch I recently installed, using e29 SCS pin. Thanks, ran fine setup like this when it was NA on a 150 shot, but I'll recalibrate and see what that does.CalibratEd wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 7:30 amThe TPS is reading 1% at idle. Re: k24a 3584 Basemap Help
Ok, I have a base map that is currently working pretty well idling and cruising, running into two issues. When cruising at low RPMs in lower gears partially on throttle I'm getting some surging/bucking, I imagine it's something I could solve with the acceleration smoothing retard, but I don't have experience with that function. I'll need to grab a log for that issue.CalibratEd wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2023 7:57 am Nice build. I enjoy tuning k swapped cars. It’s the new version of the GM LS. The other issue, I edited the fuel maps to be pretty conservative with fuel but doing small highway pulls under boost to log and then make small changes. When I go from vacuum to boost I get some stuttering, looks like it goes rich then spikes lean right when I start building boost. I still need to pull a bit of fuel after I'm fully in boost as well, but it's running high 10 / low 11 afrs. Attached is the current calibration and a log of the issue I'm seeing. Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to learn so open to all input.

Re: k24a 3584 Basemap Help
Pulled a little fuel out, much better on the bogging upon boost, but going lean then rich upon hitting boost. Kal and Log attached. Also reduced the "bunny hopping" with the acceleration smooth retard, currently set at 30, but still doing it a bit. How do I got about reducing the lean spike right before boost without creating a richer condition once I hit boost and further reduce the "bunny hopping"?
