MAP Channel stuck

Post by terrorista »

Guys,

I Switched to Hondata's 4 bar map sensor and .. For some reason everytime the car is shut off, the MAP channel stuck in this reading.
If I disconect and reconect the MAP Sensor, the engine dies, but when firing it again it reads ok.
Just turn it of and refiring ... Gets stuck.

Attached Cal and Datalog of the situation.

If you put the stock MAP sensor back in does it do the same thing?

Nope ..

Just change back to the 1.7bar MAP sensor despite using the 4bar map calibration ... It varies as desired.

I´ve added a Datalog with it.

I´ve tried two 4 bar map sensor ... Hondata and PLM .... Same stuck situation when turning off the engine.

Thanks,

Put the stock MAP sensor back in and reupload the calibration with the correct settings for that MAP sensor and datalog. Post that calibration and datalog here.

The calibration is locked and I cannot see any parameters. If the calibration is not setup correctly for the MAP sensor you are using then it will not work.

The datalog you have posted is blank and contains no data. Are you trying to use the OEM map sensor with a calibration set for a 4bar?

You need to post a datalog using the 4bar MAP sensor and the calibration you have posted

What has been modified on this vehicle?

From what you have said, the 4bar works until you shut the engine off then it doesn't read after restarting...is this correct?

What wiring has been modified in the vehicle?

Hi Spunkster ... Sorry by the late response.

Happened again with another car ... We got like ... 7 cars doing it ...
The Map chanel just read the same value / Colum - All other Readings are OK.

I tried to flash it, change the map on the calibration, flash it again and .. Nothing changes. Once I put the key on 2nd stage (Dash and all systems ok) i need to take map the connector out and on the sensor. Doing this, the readings get ok ... Car runs fine ....

When I shut off the engine, when re-cranking it ... It gets stuk again.

Tried with several MAP brands, including your ones ... Nothing changes.

Only have the Boost Controller as EGR Lift at pin B2.
And WideBand as ELD at pin A23
