Haltech Pressure Temp Analog input

Post by l337h4l »

I have a Pressure Temp in 1 sensor from Haltech.
If anyone is interested it is a Bosch Sensor from 2016-2021 Mazda CX-9 But you have to buy it from Haltech to get the pigtail

Anyhow, as seen in the attached picture the graph value supplied by Haltech is not 1:1 The Values in custom inputs only offer a Start and End point resulting in a linear straight line.

I am running a AEM CD-7 dash If I just set it up the Kpro to voltage and pull the Analog input over as volts can I just convert it there over the CAN?

Lastly for a temp input you need to bring the signal to VCC power via resistor.
Will this effect the pressure sensor using the same power supplied pin?

Thanks in advance

I do not think this will work as you want. You will be much better off using the recommended sensors with part numbers in the help file.

The AEM CD-7 pulls the analog channels over CAN. I already use the AEM Wideband which was easy. I also have custom surge tank sensors wired in for full and empty which are 0-1v in the Analog inputs. As long as I get a voltage reading into the Analog input the CD-7 will convert the the signal using its function calculation for accurate readings.

But for the custom input voltage fields should I go 0-5?

Also additional question on the wiring sharing power with that pull up resistor would it effect the other sensor?

Are you referring to settings for the AEM?

I’m referring to Kpro input settings. My other non supported sensors are just raw voltage. If I pull that I know the AEM can convert it. I don’t think I need the pull up resistor is that just required for the recommended sensors?

Have you tried setting it to voltage instead of AF in the analog settings?
