Hondata flashpro unable to connect to Bluetooth after un plugging USB
Hondata flashpro unable to connect to Bluetooth after un plugging USB
So i followed the proper steps to enabling bluetooth on flash promanager and it seems to work fine when the usb cable is connected to my laptop but as soon as I disconnect it from my laptop it loses bluetooth connectivity on my phone. yes i did have it unplugged from my car and configured the settings then unplugged it from my pc, then connected it to my car and nothing. The flashpro would show up under bluetooth devices on my phone but not connect in the hondata app.

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

Re: Hondata flashpro unable to connect to Bluetooth after un plugging USB
Hi, so just last night I tuned my FK8 for the first time, and I was super pumped to get the Hondata app running on my 2020 FK8's head unit. I already had Hondahack, so I installed the Hondata head unit app and I am experiencing the exact same issue as you.
I uninstalled, and reinstalled, both through USB and the online installer, cannot connect.
I see the Flashpro in the list of devices when I tap the lightning bolt / connect button, but it then says "Connecting to null" followed by "Failed to connect" and the Hondata app crashes. Does yours crash / force quit after the pairing fails?
This is super frustrating. I bought the iOS app suite, and my iPhone doesn't show the Flashpro in the bluetooth settings, however the Hondata iOS app is able to connect to it. But this time, the gauge data is all messed up. Only a couple of the sensors are even reporting values, and some of the values don't even make sense.
I'm at a loss for ideas on what to try next.
If you happen to figure this out, or hear back from Hondata, please let me know!
