Hello,
I've got a 2017 FK8 that just threw a p2563 code, Turbocharger Wastegate Control Actuator Position Sensor Out of Range. I've checked the voltage at the Sensor and it reads between 0.5v and 4.8v when fully opened and closed. Pulled the PCM1 connector and checked continuity on the wire and it reads 0 ohms so I know it doesn't have an open. When I run Flashpro and check the WG sensor is reads 4.3mm when command is showing 8mm when in ON but not running. At fully open it reads -6mm and fully closed 6.4mm. Do I need to reflash my ECU or is likely the ECU has an internal issue?
I was able to get it reading back to 8mm but on the next turn on it went back to 4.3mm and the code appears again.
Thanks for any help.

Have you followed the factory trouble shooting steps for that error code?
What has been modified on your vehicle?

I went through the steps for the code on Honda Diagnostics site, checking voltages and continuity on the sensor wires.
I've got Hondata Fuel Kit, PRL Race Intake, PRL Intercooler, and PRL P700 Turbo. I had the P700 installed about a month ago and was going to get a new tune for it today when the code popped up Monday. Havne't driven it since.

It is probably from the turbo change and the wastegate actuator may be faulty or out of adjustment. It is most likely not an ECU issue.

I ordered a replacement Actuator yesterday, just waiting on it to arrive. I've read Full Races guide for calibrating the sensor and I'll give it a try too.
I agree it shouldn't be the ECU, would be a very random input to start being flakey. I assume it converts the 0-5v to read as 0mm to 12mm in Flashpros sensor data?
Appreciate the help so far.

Update -
I ended up doing Full Races calibration procedure for the WG and cleared the CEL and it hasn't returned since. I think the nut locking the pivot arm to the actuator was loose and it was essentially loosing steps.
