JDM K20A, will a Hondata Kpro v4 work?

Post by SiR.ichard »

I recently just bought a JDM K20A engine with a rbc k20z3 head. I was wondering which ecu i should buy from hybrid racing. The engine came out of JDM 2006-11 civic si models

Will the hybrid racing core ecu for K-SWAPS ONLY(PND AUT) work with the engine or should i get the budget core ecu (PPA, PND, PPF)

The engine is going into a 2002 Civic SiR EP3

You should not use an automatic ECU in a EP3 Civic. You need to use a manual ECU for the K-pro.

Hondata Kpro V4 (K swap only ecu) is a manual transmission ecu. Is it not?
Or does the AUT mean automatic?

You would have to check with Hybrid racing about their naming, but you should not use an automatic ECU on an EP3.
