Are there any tables or settings that set throttle plate position based off of MAP and RPM instead of only peddle position or
change it in other ways in flashpro?
I smoothed the base map table for Target Throttle Plate
a little and had to retarded some timing at 3,000 down in my column 8.
I really want to fine tune throttle opening from idle to 3,000 at 100% pedal if I can.
Not really sure how to do anything else yet from
that table just easing into the pedal and playing
with intake runner. The timing now is strange to me
since that at 3,000rpm is 8.2deg. jump to 3,250 is 16.80 have
timing set with no knock under heavy load but above
3,250 is the most power I’ve ever had now on
87 octane and no knock

Re: R18 Throttle Plate Mapping
Basing throttle opening on MAP would be very dangerous. Think about it.

Re: R18 Throttle Plate Mapping
What would be the best thing to monitor to adjust throttle opening from low to mid rpm when the pedal is instantly floored from a stop. I’m trying to get a more efficient low end power without easing into pedal before flooring it. Playing with air flow velocity for better transition I’m not really sure how to explain what I’m wanting to try
Re: R18 Throttle Plate Mapping
Pedal position is the only way you can make changes to the throttle plate.
