Odd happenings with JDM PR3 :).

Post by LiLOtaku »

Whats up,

I know that the JDM PR3 ECU isn't on the list of ECU's to modify(but I did anyways) and I've talked to Doug on the phone about this and he's been very helpfull and also has given me a Rom to use while using this ECU. The hondata seems to be working fine.

The only problems I'm having are that my headlights seem to dim and then go bright again randomly when I'm using this ECU with the hondata installed on it. My stock ECU doesn't do this at all. Just wondering what you guys would recommend to fix this problem.

I was also wondering if there are disadvantages to using the JDM PR3 due to the fact that its missing a few components compared to its USDM counterparts. Would it be better If I used a P30 or P28 instead of the JDM PR3?

Hopefully you guys can help me out with these questions :D . Thanks for any replies.

Your problem is the ECU it some controls the voltage regulator in the alternator of your car that's why whit your stock ECU you don't have a problem.

check if you have a mising cable in your Jdm ecu compare to us ecu
Is not what you get, is what you do
