S300 cranks no start

s300 in p28 ecu.
smanager shows online does datalog, uploads and downloads correctly.
using the "b20 non vtec" base tune.

Car is b swapped hatch with b20b non vtec head.
car will run on p75 ecu fine.

What am I missing

Is there fuel and spark?

fuel pump primes no spark

You need to try the ECU on a known working vehicle and see if it starts and runs with the calibration for that vehicle. If it does not, then the ECU may be bad.

I will try that, it wouldn’t matter that it’s a non vtec motor and harness correct?

It should not matter for just starting it up as long as the calibration loaded is close to the vehicle you are testing in.

hey spunkster

I socketed a p75 and it did start.

I'm suspecting a faulty ecu. any thoughts on what i could try on this bad one before switching to the p75?

You can try replacing the capacitors, but that may not solve anything. https://www.hondata.com/products/access ... acitor-kit

It's usually more costly and takes more time than it is worth to try and repair a damaged ECU. It is better to just get a working ECU instead.
