Boost Controller Not Responding

Post by EGAJohn »

Today I just finished installing the boost controller on my second Integra and set it up exactly how my race car is. I was going to install the ecu circuitry myself but noticed someone installed the components already. When I tested the output in the online tab it worked and was responding to my duty & frequency changes. I set up my low/ high boost maps and hit the road. I tried both low and high boost and neither got a response from the boost controller. I was just at wastegate pressure the entire time. I pulled over and tried setting a fixed duty cycle and still no response. Last thing I tried was changing the frequency to 33hz. Still nothing. But when I got back and tried the test output function it still works. Never had this happen before so I'm not sure where to begin.

The boost control is set to target duty cycle. If you look in the high boost table its set to 25, which is 25%. The lookup table is only 4.9 psi at 25% duty.

Post a datalog showing the issue.

Your boost (low/default) table is all 0's.

Regardless of the lookup tables and boost by gear tables I tried fixed duty cycle at different percentages and still got no response. It's currently back on boost by gear even though it's not working. I want low boost to be 0% and I'll dial in high boost once it's working. I did confirm the low/ high boost SCS input is working. I'll record a datalog when I get home to see if it's giving any wg demand. Maybe I need to try a higher duty cycle? On my racecar I have 15% - 80% usable range on the boost controller.
