manual or automatic and if auto how can i change that

Post by mikiebabie »

i have a 91 civic hatch si and have a 2nd gen zc
with three different ecus to choose from
i have a pm6
a pr5
and an 89 integra ecu

the thing is my pr5 is automatic,
i was talking to someone today and they said there was a way to convert it to manual
i like the 89 teg ecu but one minute the rev limit is 7000 and the next minute its 7800 even if its warmed up all the way does anyone have a suggestions
and the pm6 just sucks

thanx in advance :) [/b]

P72 Ecu

Post by Civic1200 »

My question is along the same lines as above.

I was recently offered a P72 Auto ECU but I'm not too sure about converting it to a manual. I know the Hondata instructions say it's simple, but has anyone actually done this? I just don't want to buy it only to have to try and resell it (no auto B18Cs delivered to AU).
