I installed my Hondata IMG today in my '02 base Acura RSX with the assistance of the Helms manual and your directions. Everything went back together without a hitch. The car started and idled fined. As I was heating the car up to bleed my cooling system, I opened the throttle with my hand very quickly and the car bogged down, there was a slight click, something that sounded like a vacuum leak and then the swoosh of air thru my AEM CAI as the engine caught up to the throttle. This happens everytime I press the throttle/accelerator pedal quickly as if I'm jumping off the line. I drove the car about 30 miles thinking I would give it time and no change.
The only other thing I did was smooth out the intake manifold ever so slightly with some fine emery paper and then clean it with some intake cleaner. I haven't had a chance to hook up my PC to the car yet and see if there's any DTC's. I'll do that first thing tomorrow.
Any ideas? I've read that a couple of people have had vacuum leaks with their gasket (not sure what that means though as there aren't any vacuum lines used in the gasket???). Incidentally, I tightened all the intake manifold bolts to 16ft/lbs and replaced all necessary gaskets and O-rings. TIA for any help
