HELP FOR EUROPEAN CIVIC V-TECH B16A2

Post by marsmik »

Hello,
I'm italian than, sorry for my english.
I'd like to supercharge my civic EK4 B16A2.
Which hondata product is good for me to tune properly my ECU?
I don't know if I have OBD I or II, i can just say that my Civic is an European model of 1996.
If hondata doesn't have the solution, how can I solve the problem?

Thank you!

The S300 will be your best option, and your car is OBD2. We offer OBD1 ecu's with a built in OBD2 adapter.

than, with this solution I surely solve the problem and tune fine my ecu for the new superchaged engine... ok?

And what about 'We offer OBD1 ecu's with a built in OBD2 adapter'?
I read that S300 fits inside the ECU.

At the end, which products i have to buy to start my project?
and which operations I have to do after?

if you purchase the hondata ecu with the built in obdII plug and an s300, then the only other major things you will need are a lap top and a wide band o2 sensor.

I have to replace my ecu with a new one from hondata with the module s300 installed. it's all right? how much $$$$ ?
for the tuning of the car I will not operate alone. I'll go to an electronic specialist.
Whith this kind of ecu if one day I will make the civic turbo, i can?

how much $$$ for a complete ecu with s300 and the adapter for OBD2?

I have to set a total budget and the correct products.
after, i will go to the dealer which is far from my city.

for the s300 you should patronize your county's dealer... competition is hard for them, and since they will be your primary support it is best if you purchase the s300 from them. they also have the hondata obdI ecus with the obdII plugs aready installed or they can order them. in fact, i believe the hondata dealer agreement forbids dealers outside your country from selling hondata products to you since there is a dealer within your country.

by the way, your english is better than 25% of california's resident's.

I'm from your eastern neigbour land and i use Hondata S200 on my JRSC. If you will have any problems you can contact me and i can help you.
Hondata is very good thing on JRSC. I got very good results with it and I'm pleased that i'm using it.
