Saxon,

Load the base file and datalog the car at idle and then a normal driving log if possible. You mentioned you are running the OEM wideband. Do you plan on installing an aftermarket widenband?

I have the factory RSX Upstream sensor on the car right now. Do you think there would be a big benefit to going with a aftermarket wideband? If so, I can order one now before grabbing logs. Is there a specific wide-band that plays well with the Hondata ECU? Forgive me for my ignorance, I am new to the Honda scene.

It appears I DID buy a wideband for the car. I bought the following o2 sensor:

I highly recommend anyone running a forced induction setup to install an aftermarket wideband. Popular ones are AEM, Innovate and PLX.
They all work well with Hondata.

Roger, I will order one. In the meantime I will run what you sent and send you the logs. Thanks!

OK I have the car up and running well enough to drive it around a bit. For the data log are you looking for anything in particular? How much driving do you need etc? I wanted to make sure that you have what you need in order to progress with the next step.

If the car is idling well. I just need a normal driving datalog to dial in the part throttle. Let’s say. 5-15 minutes drive.

I wouldn't say it is idling well*. It seems to be kind-of surging. I am assuming that is due to the bad AFR readings it is getting (It is actually running very rich), but the AFR's are very high. I am attributing that to bad placement of the wide band sensor so I am going to re-locate that tonight before confirming.
I set the idle a bit higher - in the tune (And the drive by cable throttle) to about 1000rpm and it idles much better.

I noticed you set the boost cut to 5psi. Can I move that up a bit so I can drive in the higher RPM range? I have a 14psi spring in the wastegate so in order to fully rev the car out i would need to raise it to at least 15psi.

thanks,

Also it dies immediately after starting if I don't give it little gas (If I didn't raise the idle to 1000rpm). Once I give it a little throttle I can immediately let off and it stays running.

I would avoid going into boost i till we have dialed in the part throttle.

Create a datalog of the car at idle after it has reached operating temperature. Then create a datalog of Normal driving. I’m sure it need some fuel adjustments.

high afr idle.kdl
When the car is idle, (at 1000rpms), it actually sounds very healthy, BUT the AFR values sit very high as you can see in the data log I attached. Once I give the car throttle and get into the higher RPM range the AFRs come way down to a safe 14ish. I am still using the Factory RSX Wide Band sensor, but I still didnt think this would be an issue. I did test out a different MAP sensor offset value jus to see if it would change anything and it did indeed make the AFR's sit at around the desired 14 when idle. I dont know if that helps at all. Just spit balling ideas.
