FK8 Base Map Calibration

Post by asdfgdaniel »

Hi all,

New to the platform and am unsure of what calibrations/map to do for my car

I currently have -
PRL HVI Intake (Normal, not race one)
PRL Turbo Inlet
PRL exhaust (... if that matters)
PRL Front pipe
HKS Legamax Catback

Car runs 98 Octane

I am from Australia also - so a calibration/map to suit this pls

I have photo attached of how i think it should be but want to be sure before i run it.

Also what does it mean by throttle: standard/improved? Does it mean if i have upgraded my throttle or is it asking if i want improved throttle response in my calibration?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It means improved throttle response. You will have to try the calibration and see how it works with your modifications.

Oh okay, so it doesnt actually mean it physically like upgraded/aftermarket throttle body or something? Just an improvement in throttle in map/ecu?

What about the rest of it? Is that correct for an Australian FK8 on 98 octane?

Yes that looks fine, improved throttle response makes the pedal more sensitive, like the different between comfort and R mode, makes the car feel snappier.

I am in Australia and running the 98 UK tune on BP ultimate, it feels much better than the us93 tune.

Maybe i should change over!
