Can’t upload to s300

Alright I got it tested with burton racing and they said that they could upload just fine and everything was working. Also they said that was the ic17 component and that would not change anything. they said it was an old part that was discontinued and frequently goes bad.
So my thinking is that its some sort of ground issue with the car. is that possible?

I'm not familiar with that part going bad. If they have tested it and it is working then it must be something in your vehicle that is causing the issue.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, any clue what it could be? Anything would help

I would focus on anything that has been modified from stock, and all the engine bay wiring. Grounds are very important.
