Display/Sensors Show Wrong Data

Post by Jmak556 »

- 02 RSX base
- 42035
- version 4 5 1 0
- ECU part number (starts with 37820 PRB A07 2068-704354)
- 4 5 1 0
- the calibration (as an attachment)?
- a datalog of a problem, not working.
- only a cold air intake.
- yesterday from a guy in Killeen Texas. Used. Luis Colon.
- issue is the display and sensor values are stuck on what I believe is the previous car/tunes values. RPM/MAP/AF all read the incorrect values.

When load a base map it throws a check light but never displays the reading in error codes. States not supported.

Any help appreciated.

Have you uploaded a calibration to the ECU using this software?

I did try a few times to no avail. Went ahead and attempted again this morning.

Each time a calibration is attempted it still shows the old map engine data. RPM/MAP/TPS.

Was able to load another tune from another Kpro, save it and then load it to this kpro. Runs fine but still shows the other ecu data.

Thanks,

Josh

The yellow lightning bolt, as soon click on it all the data from the last tune will auto fill.

That is not data from the last tune. That is the data that the ECU is reporting to the software.

Ahh I see, so what can I do to have it show the correct data? It will run just fine showing the wrong info.

Please give an example of the values you are referring to.

The RPM is stuck on 5k
VSS stuck at 52 mph
MAP reads 302.1 psi
TPS 30%
CAM 20
Duty 100%
CLV 33%

All show the same incorrect data that never changes, no matter If the car is running or not.

Basically showing all the wrong info on the sensors display. And won’t show the actual data the car puts out.

Thanks

If you go to the online, tools menu, and click on erase ECU, will it allow you to erase the ECU?

Now go to the New Calibration button, choose a calibration and upload it to the ECU and try datalogging.

Stater went out.

Now it’s shows failure to load calibration.

It shows the old base RSX factory calibration was loaded in “calibration storage.”

It’ll run but runs very bad.

Sensor window still shows all the incorrect values. RPM says I’m going 5400 and it’s not even running.

Thanks.

Starter went out*

It’s allowing me to load the base calibration. I forgot to turn the key on.

But sensor values are still wrong. Shows VSS is going 52mph but car is parked.

Thanks.

When was the last time this was working?

What has changed since it was last working?
