My A/F gauge reads totally rich all the time (the last green led on the gauge). Then yesterday, I threw a CEL so I was going to check out what the code was but it was gone when I turned my car back on. Then today, I threw another CEL but again it was gone when I turned my car back on. So now I decide to hook up my datalogger to see what is up. I find that my car's O2 sensor is stuck at 3.79V no matter how I drive.
Does this mean my O2 sensor is toast? If so, shouldn't my CEL stay on all the time?
-Thanks

o2 sensor
Assuming OBD1 ECU: 3.8V indicates the o2 sensor is not working. You will only get a CEL once about 5 minutes after starting the car from cold. Check wiring and/or replace o2 sensor.
