Can’t upload to s300
Can’t upload to s300
I’ve searched on all the forums about the s300s upload button being greyed out. It says it’s some sort of socketing issue, I presume that means that I soldered the pins in wrong. My d2 light is flashing red and my d1 light is solid green. Any tips?

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?
Is it plugged into the vehicle wit the ignition in the on position?

And it is plugged into the vehicle with the key in the on position
Re: Can’t upload to s300
I got it socketed but burton racing because I figured I had just socketed it wrong and wanted to make sure it was correct and they tested the ecu and everything worked, but I’m still having the same issue.
Re: Can’t upload to s300
Post a picture of the soldering on the bottom of the ECU.
Re: Can’t upload to s300
The solder looks good to me but I also suck at it lol

Re: Can’t upload to s300
When they tested it were they testing with your s300?
Re: Can’t upload to s300
No they didn’t even have mine, do you think it’s an issue with the s300?
Re: Can’t upload to s300
More than likely it is not the s300. IT does look like the capacitors were not replaced in the ECU when it was socketed. That could be an issue as well. I would have the shop the socketed and tested it test with your s300 and have them replace the capacitors in the ECU.
Re: Can’t upload to s300
They said that they replaced the capacitors, the first image I uploaded of the top of the ecu was the one I did where I didn’t replace the capacitors but I think the new one they did. But here is a pic of the top of the new one

Re: Can’t upload to s300

Re: Can’t upload to s300
This is my first time doing really any modifications to cars
I pretty much got the engine with most the parts I need and built it and put it in so anything with maybe grounds or something could be it but I’m not sure what would cause this other than socketing

Re: Can’t upload to s300
That is not original and am not sure why anyone would modify this.
