k24/20 big cam tune?

Post by hondaboy305 »

hello ladies and gents, i have a k24/20, with a fender exit, 4.5 dc cams, 12.5 comp pistons, and 1650cc injectors, on 93. im having issues just turning on the car or keeping idle, ive just been trying random tunes, but have had no success. Can anyone help me with a base map to at least get me running? thanks!!

I can help out. Are you able to provide datalogs with wideband data? What brand are the injectors and do you have the injector data?

I'm using alpha injector clinic 1650cc,with pump 93. i can get the car to turn on but its rough and for some reason wont rev past 3k... I dont have my wideband set up yet, hopefully will do so tomorrow. would that cause my "limp mode" issue? i took a minute long Datalog today ill attach it, I'm new to this so excuse me if the datalog Isn't adequate, I appreciate all of the help!! the tune I attached as well is what I'm using right now, its been touched by several people so I cant say its any good. thanks.

I would look over all of your grounds. That is a common issue that does not allow cars to rev past 3000RPM. I will look over the files an let you know if i see anything strange. It never good when many people edit as people have many ways of tuning. I normally build my own calibration files. Do you plan to get it dyno tuned or E Tuned later?

You have a lot of errors and need to resolve them before going any further.

What errors are in the tune?
I'm getting a P0335 code for crank position sensor. I've changed sensors, check for voltage on signal and power cable, continuity from the ground to the chassis and nothing, (I even took off the timing cover to ensure that the pulsar ring was installed correctly..)
The only code I'm getting is that one. I believe THAT is what is not allowing me to rev past 3k...
On another note.. My AFR at idle is around 13.0:1 according to the wideband, which after selecting the analog 0 and wiring the white cable from the wideband, on to the Kpro, and setting to use an external wideband, the AFR still does not reflect on the parameters when Datalogging or when my laptop is connected to the Kpro. Any suggestions? is there something i am doing wrong? I've been doing research in the forums regarding both my problems and no luck, this stuff with the CKP is making me go crazy.. I know nothing about tuning so please excuse my ignorance.
I plan on E tuning as dyno's are rather far from where i am stationed.

I thank everyone for taking there time to help me and teach me.
