p28 ecu question

Post by 96accordtypeS »

hey guys, recently I was asking about the p72...
anyways, I know the obd1 p72 is the most recommended ecu to use with hondata s300 with my JDM h22a type S swap in my accord.. but it is turning out to be extremely hard to find that ecu on ebay, or around where I live here. I have the opportunity to get a hold of a manual tranny p28 obd1 ecu though, and according to the hondata site it works fine as well.. what would be the best move, wait til I can get the right p72 ecu, or just go with the p28? any advice would be awesome, thanks.

THe P28 can be used, but it does not have secondary runner control. You may be able to use the nitrous outputs to control the secondaries, but we have not tested htis.
