Help on Calibration for FA5 Please.

Post by ronrja »

Hello, I have a 2009 Civic Si and I need help finding the right calibration for it as these gas prices are also over the board. I don't have anything too crazy I have a DC sports short ram air intake and a Skunk2 MegaPower RR 76mm catback with stock headers. I want it to be running best as possible and not damage the engine. I been running a pop/burble calibration my friend provided me for a while now but I noticed it wasted a lot of gas and also feel like it's damaging the engine. Thank you.

Start with one of the SRI calibrations in the FlashPro Manager and run some datalogs to see if it runs better than the file you're on. Then you can make some adjustments as needed from there.

I just switched to stock tuned but I’m not really sure how to make adjustments and all that .

Okay, yeah the stock tune might not be the best since that doesn't account for the intake and exhaust mods you have. Based on the calibration you were driving on and your fear of it damaging your engine, I'm not sure I feel comfortable taking over and tuning it for you. Do you have any datalogs driving it on your friends tune, and can you post that calibration so I can see what all was done in the tune?

Yea give me some time I’m currently at work but once I’m home I’ll see if I have any data logs or else I’ll drive with it and send it over .
