Have you already put the 50* VTC gear on the engine? If so, it's a true 50*, or did you get one that has a machined limiter to not allow it to go to 50*?

If you have installed the 50* gear, did you have the head off and clay for piston to valve clearance?

What is your goal for rev limits with the Type S pump?

Are you running the stock 8th gen fuel injectors?

Okay. Just keep an eye on the injector duty cycle then and also watch the rev limiter. Depending on which file you're running it might be too high for your engine.

Go ahead and make a datalog with roughly twenty minutes of driving, that way we can see how it looks right now. Then we can go from there.

Yeah from a part throttle fuel perspective it's not bad, the WOT fuel is definitely on the lean side. The main issue is the knock you have on long fourth gear pulls, so that for sure needs to be addressed.

Which basemap are you running, can you post it or let me know which one it is so I can look at it? I don't want to use it, I just want to see a few things to answer some questions I have.

We would need to go in and do a full tune on it based on your mods and having the 50* wheel. To do that, we would need to go in and tune each cam angle one by one, then blend out the tables to build a cam angle map and find the right vtec rpm. This would take around 10-12 revisions to get it done right. As I am telling everyone at this point in time, with how insane gas prices are, we can do it a little quicker if needed, but I still recommend doing it the right way by tuning all cam angles to we can gather the data needed to build all the tables properly to get you the best performance.

Let me know what you think. Which CAI are you running, or more importantly the diameters of the tubing if it's custom? And you're running the stock 8th gen throttle body?
