verry reard ignition problem

Post by stephancrxboosted1 »

hey guys i have a sleeved fully build b16a1 crx with a p28 ecu obd0 to obd1 and the car runs perfect till it dies so now and then. I checked and refreshed all the grounds and try,d an other p28 ecu and checked the conversion harness 10 times and followed and measured all the wire,s .the dizzy is new and changed the ignitor with 2 other, and when it dies it doesn,t give a error.the hondata works good,i can upload ,datalog and everything, and the aem wideband also work,s perfect. The injectors are new 1000cc grams.and everything is new on the car,
I have new bougies bkr7e n11 with new ngk resistor cable,s. there,s a msd al6 with ss blastercoil installed but without the msd stuff the problem is still there.I solved very much problems in my live but this a hard one.i putted more then 12.000 e in the car and now i cant get it solved.
Does anyone seen a problem like this or has a idea? because i don,t and didn,t find someone with a problem like this

Post the calibration and a datalog showing when this happens. Also please give a detailed description of the issue.

Ok thanks for your quick respond, when i start the car and let it idle ,it idle,s and perfect and suddenly it stops running, most off the time when i start it again it runs again and it dies again but sometimes it does nothing and when i check i does not have a spark.one day went to the apk (car inspection)and i drive,d to home and parked the car.the next day i started the car and it runs like crap,it hardly stays on and it runs falter and misfire,s.so i thought that it was the ecu but i bought another p28 after long searching that was not opened and installed the s300 but the problem was still there.,i tuned only the 1st table and not the vtec map because i drive,d only 120 km total and then the problem appeared .here is one of the datalog,s and the calibration.i think i,m going to rewire the important wire,s from ecu to ignition ,only i have the car for 13 years and had never such problem with the car on obd0 with bre on the pwo ecu but i must look further...

Have you tried this ECU and s300 on a known working vehicle that is already OBD1 without being converted?

I recommend that you use Facebook or forums to find someone locally to help you test your ECU in their vehicle before makin any wiring changes to your vehicle.
