Had the car go into limp mode again, low voltage something. I reset it and went for another drive in the rain, both times. I have a cover over the front exposed area of the cone filter to extra water from going into the intake. Ran just fine on the test run. Don't think I got a full throttle pull.

Sorry I just realized I never replied to your last post. This one looks really good, no knock, and all the fueling looks good. You had a little bit of WOT in this one, and that looks good. Keep testing it, and if you're able to get some good WOT pulls or see any knock let me know. It looks good though, just be careful with all the water out there this time of year.

Merry Christmas. I was able to get a short log, has a bunch of light knock before the datalog, but also got gas. Might have been bad gas.

Here is a couple better datalogs, but I didn't get it to knock like it did on the drive to and from Sac. I'm pretty sure it was bad gas. Freeway at 3500rpm's and light throttle input had bad knock. Didn't get that today.

Yeah you would think for $5.19 for 91 octane we could get some good stuff at least. Haha. I'm really starting to wonder about fuel quality all over North America honestly. I am seeing a lot more knock than I used to see in previous years. What do I know though.

Anyways, overall it looks great. I cleaned up a couple areas of knock for this next one. Test it out and see how it goes.

Just got in my vibrant ultra quiet resonator to add to the exhaust. This should be just enough to take the edge off the sound. Old setup was loud from 4500 rpm's on, now with the 3" it's 3000 rpm's on. Waiting on more V-band clamps, broke 2 as I was building the exhaust.

Sounds good, just keep me in the loop when you get it on. That datalog looked great. No knock, and all the fueling looked great. We will see how it looks once you get the resonator on.

Got everything done I wanted and a bit more. I have been fight wheel hop and don't want to get new adjustable front struts, I like the softer ride of the Koni orange. I was able to tie the tranny into the front rail with a bushing and a swivel point. This should limit and cushion the stock mount. We'll see. I think I have a vacuum leak also I need to fix.

I thought I'd post here with my problem. After do a little work on my intake, I got it back running and it ran fine but got a code. p0507. Something about higher than normal idling. This morning I throw in revised tune and all the warning lights are on and I'm getting a P2647 now. I did the carb cleaner around the intake to listen for the motor rpm to rise and nothing. But that code is gone and replace by P2647 and as soon as I reset the DTC it's back. I'm about to dig into the screen behind the belts even though it is fairly new. Not sure what else to check.

Reset things and went for a drive. This time everything cleared and it is screaming. Thanks EFICU

The problem came back. This time I put the old VTC oil control assembly back on, cleaned the hole out. Then removed the VTC oil screen and cleaned out the small hole, it seemed to have some sludge in there, used a Q-tip. And then through everything back together. Before it was always around 6000 rpm in 3rd or higher gear. Hopefully it is fixed. Tried my hardest to get it to shut down. Here's how it looked.

EFICU, can you check out this log. Want to know if everything looks good. The SRS header is no longer available so I will end up with the Megan Racing soon. Not sure when.

Yeah it looks great, really solid actually. Sorry for some reason I wasn't subscribed to this thread and missed your post yesterday, haha. It looks great though, hopefully it stays good. Keep me in the loop on the header and if any issues come up again.

Came right back, first hard pull in 3rd, F#@K!!! Turn ignition off and on, just check engine light comes on. Drives fine until you push 3rd gear or higher.

I wish I had some guys with that issue so I have experience with it, sadly I don't. Curious if it's an ECU issue or something almost, you've replaced or cleaned/adjusted just about everything in the system.
