Immobilizer not working on new tune

Post by jp554731@gmail.com »

So I have an autel tablet that can marry keys to the ECU. My problem is I do not have the Original Key to my PRB-A05 Type S ECU.
I tried marrying the keys to the ecu and the immobilizer works when in the factory tune. But when I put a new base map the Immobilizer does not work and the green key keeps blinking on the dash. Also, I am able to start the car with a key that does not have the immobilizer code on it meaning I can just hotwire the car and get it to start. Also, When I try to pair new keys in the new base map, the Autel will not recognize the imobilizer anymore and I cannot proceed with paring the keys and I am not able to do the ECM/PCM option or remarry the immobilizer rings.

So my option is to get my old ecu and get the immobilizer code from it and move it to the new Kpro ECU.
does anyone know if there is an option to do this on my Autel ms906bt?
I don't want to have to buy the Honda HDS if I don't have to.

Do you have the immobilizer enabled in the calibration you are uploading?

I’m pretty sure it’s enabled. I’ll double check and report back.

So, for you guys experiencing this too, you have to enable the immobilizer every time you put on a new tune.
The way that I have fixed this is that I load the tunes and save them and load them under a different name for the tune with immobilizer enabled so I don’t have to go through the trouble of checking that box every time.
