Alpha-N settings with turbo and why not?

why is it that we cant use this on forced inudction car? i tried that with my car and it ran ok finally for the first time

i have a turbo rsx

Your boost pressure might change. If this happens, the ECU will use the ignition and fuel parameters it was set for the first boost level. You can tune the car with Alpha-N settings but ONLY if you are 100% sure your boost pressure will not change at all. Increasing boost pressure will explode your engine in a few seconds unlike the standard MAP lookup routine that compensates for the increase in boose pressure.

Do not run alpha-N with boost. The ECU has no way of knowing what the boost is, and you'd be heading for disaster.
