Haha, that's random. So that one looked good. We maxed the injectors only because it was rich up top. We will see how it looks in this next one. You can take this one for a 10-15 minute datalog if you'd like, just be sure to get a clean third gear WOT pull in as that it the main data set we need. This the 30* cam with vtec now at 4000.

vtec at 4k is hilarious to drive, this thing is awesome. 21* ambient if that matters.

Haha. Yeah thankfully Honda gave us i-Vtec so it won't engage every time if you set it that low. Overall it looked really good. We will now move to the 40* cam with vtec at 5500. For the 40* cam, the datalogs can be ten minute ones, just be sure to get a clean third gear pull. Give this one a spin when you can.

It was still rich on the WOT pull, but the duty cycle was at 97%. Once we get to the blended portion of the process, we will see how it look. From what I'm seeing, your car is going to taper down to the 15* cam angle which was around 90% duty cycle with a lot of fuel added in the background by the ECU for the cold. So you might be okay.

Awesome man, I appreciate it. I’ll run it in the morning. Have the 3rd gear pulls I’ve been sending good, or is there something I can do differently to help you out?

Sounds good. Yeah the third gear pulls have been great. You're making the hit between 2500-3000 and carrying it out to 8600. You're doing just fine on the driving. If you want to make the next to datalogs iin the twenty minute range that is fine, if not though, ten minutes and a third gear pulls is fine.

We have this one, then one more, and I will be blending out the tables. So two more datalogs, then we get to see how it rips. Once we get to the 45* cam angle, I won't make you drive on that for part throttle because it's terrible, so we will get some WOT data on a blended calibration for the 45*. We're getting there, hopefully it's not dragging out too bad on your end. Getting all the data we need is important, so spending the time is worth it in the end.

Oh no not at all, all part of the process. It works out nice that I live right off of the highway and the babysitter is a few exits up. 3rd gear on ramp rips in the morning. Takes the same amount of time to drive through town. Take the laptop with me and fire up my hotspot from my phone and upload before I go into work.

Looks really good, now we'll do one on the 40 with vtec at 4000. Same thing, ten minutes or so is fine with a clean third gear pull.

Here ya go. There were 2 small "break ups" I'm not sure what to call it, shifting around 5k it cut out/hesitated. Couldn't make it happen again, might just be the way I shifted?

Interesting, yeah I don't see anything weird. But we'll keep an eye on it.

I went ahead and blended out the low cam, and for the high cam I have it set up to get some data for the 45* cam to see how much of that it likes. So for this one, you can make another short one of ten minutes with a clean pull in third. Then I will blend out the high cam based on the data from that. So take this one when you can, and then we can blend everything out so you can see how it runs all blended.

I found a somewhat local shop that flow tests/matches and cleans injectors for $20 a piece. Would it make sense to throw a little bit more money at these potentially fake injectors to confirm they’re not great? If they aren’t good I’m out $150, if they are good I don’t have to spend $350 for known good ones. I don’t know what to think anymore.
