In need of a k24 basemap for stock 8th gen

Post by Sebastian »

Hello so my k20 just blew up and I just dropped my car off for the engine swap it’s a k24 out of a tsx not too sure of the year just yet but I will find out Thursday it’s going to be a stock build with everything stock from the k20 intake rbc manifold stock exhaust and header bone stock I have hondata but I’ve never used it before so I will try to set it up tomorrow so if anyone can help with a base map I would greatly appreciate it I’ve never tuned before I will not be using the k20 head because I believe it is damaged so I will be sticking with the k24 head so k24 bottom and top

Okay. I'll get the first calibration together for you and send it over. Are you guys planning to start it on Friday?

Sorry man, you said most likely Friday. Here is the first one for you. For the first datalog, make a quick 10 minute datalog with just normal calm driving and then post it so I can take a look at it. Don't do any wide open throttle pulls or anything yet, I just want to see how it all looks before we get to making real datalogs. Normal datalogs will be 20 minutes or so, but for this one, just make a quick 10 minute one to get some data quickly and let it idle for a few minutes when you get back so I can see how all the idle fueling looks too.

Okay, just let me know. I'll try to keep an eye out for a notification message so I can see that 10 minute datalog as soon as possible for you. When you do drive it, it's running on the 0* cam angle so it won't be very powerful, it's just a starting point so we can tune all the tables properly and get you started safe for the new setup.

Hopefully it goes well tomorrow with the install, let me know.

Sorry I’ve been lagging so something came up at the shop again and the car wasn’t ready but it definitely should be ready tomorrow and I’ll have that data log as soon as possible!! Again I appreciate you! 🥺

Sorry, I was away from my computer. Not bad for a start, for datalogs now, we need to shoot for 20 minutes in length and we need to do one wide open throttle (WOT) pull in third gear from 2500-7500. Vtec will be at 5500 on this first one.
