CEL Shift light

Hey all so I got my car tuned, and the cel is set as the shift light but ever since my cel was put as the shift light when i let my fuel pump prime the cel stays on the shuts off when the fuel pump is done priming, it seems like the cel is tied in with the fuel pump is that possible? Before I got a tune the cel would stay on for 20 seconds or so then go out before starting the car.
