Send an email to the registered email and you can also use the forgot password function and it will give a code to the registered owner and you can get that code from the registered owner.

If it is registered to their email then they should be able to check that email to get the code that is sent when you click on retrieve password. Only the registered owner will be able to get that password.

i have contacted BriggsMotor sports the guy there has been helpful in trying to help he states that most likely the owner changed the password. The owner Briggs motorsports gave me the password that he uses on all his ecu but stated that the email address was incorrect. I have sent to message to the email listed in regard to helping me get it reset or the password with no response. The person I bought it from has told me the original owner was moving to New York and he doesn't have his information anymore because it was over a year ago. Just need to know if there is a way to reset this or am i just out my money.

Hondata does not have access to the password. The only way to retrieve it is using the retrieve password function and contacting the phone or email that the code is sent to in order to have them give you the code. Briggs motorsports is not an authorized Hondata dealer. Shops should never put passwords on the systems as the password is meant as a security barrier for the owner in case of theft, not a means of locking the customer out of their ECU.
