I am running hondata s300v3 with a p28 ecu. checked J1 and J12 and they are as they supposed to be. Afr reading seems to be fine connected to D10 using PLXSMAFR. Engine is a B20 Vtec(aka LS Vtec I think its called) Using all stock oem wiring with exception of vtec solenoid and plx afr. Checked and cleaned grounds.
I am having the strangest problem.
with all my sensor connected I get no errors, however IAT and ECT values are static on -37.
if I remove the IAT plug I get an IAT Error with data on the software.
if I connect the IAT and dicsonnect the ECT, I get ECT reading with ECT error on the software.
if I disconnect both IAT and ECT, I get readings on both of these in hondata software.
I believe the IAT sensor is on the intake manifold 2 pin plug normally a white sensor.
I believe the ECT sensor is a 2 in plug just below the vtec solenoid.
If the errors are correct then I am looking at the correct physical sensor and there is nothing wrong with them. Then I am left pulling my hair out to try figure why hondata software sensor and error codes don't match up. all sensors are oem
This is a new ecu and s300v3 recently purchased and I am trying to get the car up and running. previously used a local management that uses minimal sensors. attached are the screenshots. any help would really be appreciated.

Re: Weird IAT and ECT behavior
Both the IAT and ECT are wired backwards, de pin them and swap places. Negative numbers means the 2 wires are in the wrong spot.

Re: Weird IAT and ECT behavior
Thank you for responding. I did swap the ECT wires initially and did not find any change. after the above response I swapped the IAT and got an error on the ecu. makes me wonder why I did not get an error for the ECT when wires are swapped. and no change in negative reading. considering replacing as many wires as possible to the ecu from each sensor I have oem obd1 wiring harness and age may play a part as well.

Re: Weird IAT and ECT behavior
just in case anyone comes across this problem. it seems my wires have an issue both wires show 5v on each sensor. so I will be replacing the wires directly from the sensor to the ecu. ecu ground D22 shows no voltage which is a good sign to me.
