What calibration are you running right now? Does Sirimoto provide a base calibration for you?

How much of a mix of E85 and pump are you planning on running, or are you planning on running straight E85? I'm sure you're aware of the downsides to E on 8th gens, mostly the fact that you will lose your fuel gauge within a few months. If you don't care about the fuel gauge it doesn't really matter then, but that is the big one for a lot of people is the E degrades the sending unit components which results in the loss of the fuel level gauge.

Do you have all the injector data for the injectors? It would have come with them in a pamphlet or something hopefully, it says on their site it's included with the package. I am guessing you got the complete Sirimoto kit then, which includes their injectors and the Grams pump?

The only downside to me helping you is I don't tune for E85 stuff. I can help you tune it for gasoline to get it dialed, and then we can work on the E85 stuff afterwards. Tuning on gasoline is ideal anyways so we can get our base tune dialed, then the E compensations can be adjusted. A lot depends on how much E you plan to run at any time. The stock sensor isn't great at reading very rich setups which E requires. Therefore I don't really get into alternate fuels. I can tune it for you on gasoline though if you want, then the E settings can be played with later if you want, but I can't guarantee I can help much on the E85 side.

If you want some help let me know.

Good morning thank your for replying. Totally get it the car came with e85 kit I have no problem tuning regular gas. I also have the pamphlet for the injectors. Right now I’m just running Hondata base tune for SRI with E85 Enable. I have about 60% e85 in the take right now. I will go through the tank and add some 91

Yeah that would be my main concern is not having a real tune for gasoline and E. Can you post a datalog of at least ten minutes of driving around town and post the calibration? We might be able to clean it up quickly, then get started on tuning it properly once the E is out of it.

Okay. I’m away from my computer at the moment. How long until you have to drive the car? What time zone are you in?

How much driving are you doing tonight?

System too rich is slightly better than too lean. If anything, just don’t do any aggressive driving. Just keep it calm and normal with no wide open throttle driving.

Can you post the calibration you’re driving on. I might be able to access a computer where I’m at, but I need your calibration to make changes to since I can’t access my files right now.

Okay, I can’t get access to the computer where I’m at right now. Just drive it easy and I will look it over in a couple hours when I get home. If you can, take your laptop and flashpro with you wherever you’re headed and I’ll send you an updated calibration based on the datalog tonight.

Sorry to leave you hangin’ right now. Just drive it smooth and calm and you’ll be fine for today.

Okay, just got to take a look at it. It's definitely on the rich side, but the fuel trims are hanging onto it for the most part. They are close to max, but they're keeping it close.

Can you look in the pamphlet and try to find the injector data for me? It will give you a cell chart like an excel spreadsheet, and it will go like 6 8 10 12 16 for volts, then injector data below it. Or something similar to this below. This will give us a good start to things going using this data.
