I can't get into WOT on first or second without my tires slipping in these cold temps, lol. Not complaining, I'll just have to wait until it warms up again.
I can't imagine what it would be like at warmer temps with my summer tires on.

As for the vtec, I prefer keeping the pressure threshold on the higher side. I daily this to work too, so fuel economy is still important, but I do like to play with it when the roads are free and clear. As fun as it is to kick into vtec, time and place for everything I suppose.

I'm a believer that taking it slow time yields better results, rushing just kinda gets you "there", but no further. So I had a feeling that the longer route would be the most beneficial for my car, making it more enjoyable and reliable at the end of it all. Which it definitely is, all thanks to you for all you have put into this process, I can't stress that enough. The car has come such a long way already, 41 knocks at the start of it all to nothing this last time around!

Gotcha, haha. Yeah be careful out there. If you/when you do a race header and exhaust the first few gears become useless this time of year.

Sounds good on the vtec stuff, I agree with you which is why I place the threshold higher so you don't kick it on every time you pass through the lower rpm value. Everyone is a little different, so I try to make sure it's tailored to their wants.

You're welcome. Yeah I read that last line and saw "41 knocks" thinking how did we go to 41 from 1 the last time, haha. Then I read it again and it made more sense. This last one looked really good. No knock as you mention, and all the fueling was pretty much dead on. I made a couple half percent WOT fuel adjustments just trying to get it perfect. For this next one, I also tightened up the throttle pedal map to see if you like it. The other files have a modified pedal map, but this next one has a little sportier pedal map. See what you think. If you like it that's great, if not, that's fine too. Don't feel like you have to keep it. Just let me know what you think. Take this one for the same type of datalog and driving style.

Here's another log split into two, I don't understand why the file size tends to explode when my drives last longer than 30 mins.

The new pedal map feels great, I didn't think the car would be able to feel like this completely stock. Definitely want to keep it. Looks like one knock came back. Strange that it was early in the WOT this time, usually they come at the higher RPMs.

Yeah I'm not sure why it does that either honestly. Some guys will make similar datalogs and one has more data than others, but I don't know why. It's common though.

Glad you're happy with it! It looks great. The fueling is absolutely dead on in WOT now, and within a couple percent on part throttle which is as good as it gets. Yeah knock is interesting, which is why we test so much for it and I have you guys keep testing for a week or so after it all looks good. As long as you don't have a knock happening all the time in one area, you're all good. If knock is happening in the same area a lot, then it needs to be addressed. So if in six months you notice a random knock, don't stress on it too much, it happens. Just imagine the chaos going on in the cylinders of these engines, things can get out of wack occasionally. I made some slight adjustments for the knock, which may not have needed any, but still while we're here I might as well. What we can do as well, when the warmer months come, you can always hit me up when you can make some more aggressive pulls through the gears and stuff to make sure we don't have any knock. Like I mentioned, I encourage you guys to keep datalogging for a few weeks after we call it good so we can see long term it's all good, especially now that you are familiar with the datalogs and what to look for in a general sense.

Here is the next one, take it for a spin when you can. It looks great through, if the knock is gone in this next one we are pretty much there, I'm all out of tricks. Haha.

Yeah, car feels so on point now, I think you've taken it as far as we can go with what I have currently set up. Like you recommend, I'll keep making logs every now and then to make sure everything is still solid and knocks stay to a minimum. I'm sure I'll hit you up once in a while to get your opinions on how everything is going as well. At least I won't be bugging you every day anymore... until I get those upgrades.

I've said it so many times, but thank you so much. I originally just asked for help to get rid of some knocks from the base map, but you ended up giving me an entirely new car. If there is anyway I can compensate you for everything, let me know.

Hope you have a great holiday season!

We're definitely there, all the fueling looks great again but one pesky knock up top this time. I made some small adjustments for it. Keep making datalogs for fun to see if the knock goes away. You don't have to go out and make dedicated datalogs unless you want to. It all looks great, I'm just nitpicking to remove the knock.

Yeah you can always hit me up with questions or future mods if you happen to do any. I'm glad you're happy with it. I like to help get you guys to the point of having fun with the car and not having to worry about it, and that usually requires going through the whole tune to get it right. I don't like just cleaning up a small section like knock while leaving everything else "ok". And you're not bugging me, you guys have the burden of time making the datalogs honestly.

I'll shoot you a PM for the other stuff.
