Callibration for a K24 swapped 8th gen SI

Post by HurtBiZaRrO »

Hey @EFICU I have a 2008 Honda civic SI which has been swapped with a k24 engine from a CRV or Pilot I believe because the previous engine blew. The only thing that was changed was the k24 engine head, block, internals, etc... and the water/oil pump other than that everything from the k20 was swapped onto the k24 (intake manifold, engine mounts, etc...). It does have an upgraded clutch and a lightweight flywheel but other than that the car is stock. I am currently running the calibration you made for @ficohernandez1994 because from what i read he seemed to have a very similar setup. I have attached a small 5-10 minute data log

For starters, please do not drive this car anymore with this calibration in there. It's definitely not my calibration with Fico, we only made one calibration and it was set to the 0* cam angle only. Yours is rotating the cam, which it shouldn't be if you were on Fico's calibration. Vtec is also coming on at around 2000rpm, you don't want that. Can you please post the calibration you're driving on so I can look at it. Either way, please don't drive this car until we get something else in there. It's doing all the things I was worried about in our discussion the other day, and more.

So to clear up the engine package, you basically have a CRV or something with the K20 intake manifold and injectors?

Let me know so I can get you something right away. And please post the calibration you're driving on so I can look at it please.
