I’m about to try and drop that J35 back in and see if a TB relearn will fix the idle problem.

Re: 2007 Civic SI needs a tune
Well i had battery disconnected like always. Changed it and it bumps up to 4 then back down and I can’t seem to get the throttle to stay at any solid point to get it to idle at 3k cuz it keeps bouncing. The only thing I can think is vacuum leak but the only vacuum line is the IAC and the one one the top of TB and all that runs fine with stock TB. I attached a pic of the top of TB that piece came on it it’s the only thing I can think might be not getting a good seal.

And you did the idle relearn with no luck?

Yes I’m back to stock OEM driving around. Should I pull a 20 min data log?
Re: 2007 Civic SI needs a tune
Okay, so you're scrapping the J35, for now at least? And the only future plan is the Skunk intake manifold?
The file you have is a bit of an older file from Will, we should start you on my current stuff. Also, if this is the bulk of the mods you have planned, we can tune it the long way which is the proper way, usually takes about 10-15 revisions to get it dialed. If you're more pressed for time, we can tune it the shorter way which usually takes 5-8, barring any mechanical issues or false knock scenarios.

J35
Skunk 2 manifold
By Christmas time.
Possible RDX 410’s but not sure cuz the story is the stock are good for up to 250 hp.
Might get HR Fuel Rail or Skunk2
Stage 2 clutch
Future future is turbo more than likely
But I’ll stay with current setup for now and I’m
I’m no hurry. I drive all the time so data logs will come quickly.
Thank you very much man. I see you helping all us wrenches out it’s pretty awesome. I just registered and got logged into the forum myself but I see you all over the forums. You rock.

Re: 2007 Civic SI needs a tune
Sounds good. Yeah the J35 and Skunk 2 manifold will be very minor in their impact on the tune, so we can tune it for the big parts you have now and then clean it up for those when you get them installed. The HR CAI and race header will be the two most impactful mods you will have. RDXs are very easy to add down the road, so if you do that we can mesh those with the tune in the future.
We will go the long route then based on your feedback. This first one will be the 0* cam angle with vtec at 4500. Take it for a 20-30 minute drive with as much stop and go type driving as possible. Avoid long steady speed basically. On the drive, make one wide open throttle (WOT) pull in third gear from 2500-8600 so we can work on the WOT fueling. The 0* cam angle will be sort of sluggish, as it's the least powerful, so don't stress on it. As we move up in cam angle, it will get stronger.
Happy to help. It should be a fun process.
