need help tuning!
Hey so I'm getting my hondata friday, will probably have my new Rv6 catted DP and 3" invidia exhaust on next week. Was wondering if anyone could help me with basemap/custom tune? More than happy to compensate you for your time. In conjuction with my K&N intake this is pretty much the final mods I plan on doing performance wise.
Thanks for any advice/help!

I can help you with it if you'd like. What year is your car?
What day next week do you plan to install the DP and exhaust?

Thank you by the way.
Re: need help tuning!
Gotcha. My schedule will be back to normal as of Tuesday next week. Make a post the night before letting me know for sure you will be doing the install, then I will put together a basemap for you to get started on and we will go from there.

Sounds good. Here is the first one, we will start in the 0 cam with vtec at 4500. The datalogs need to be 20-30 minutes in length, with as much stop and go driving as possible. Avoid long steady speed driving basically. On the drive, we need one wide open throttle (WOT) pull in third gear from 2500-7500 to work on the WOT fueling. For this first one, keep the driving normal and calm, and with only one WOT pull so we can get some data before you start to have too much fun with it. The 0 cam is the least powerful angle, so this first one won't be too much fun, it's just part of the process. As we move up in cam angle, it will pick up power and be more fun to drive.
Take this one for a spin when you can and we will see how it looks.

Hey so I'm kinda unsure if I took the datalog correctly. I kinda messed with it when I first reflashed the car and I'm not sure if I recorded it or if this is from some other time. I had like 3 random sized datalogs but the size on this one leads me to believe it might be the one I just did. I figure you will be able to tell if it is with the basemap you just sent me, if its wrong lemme know and I will just do it again.EFICU wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 9:04 am Sounds good. If it is the right one I tried to do a 3rd gear WOT pull onto the highway and got cut short because of traffic, but got a good one to about 7500 way later in the log.
Also about kick backs, I hate the idea of anyone working for free, I don't mind kicking you back something for the map and first revision, and something a little later, and something again once we believe we are all done. Let me know how you would like to go about that.

Oh also, I saw you put Injen exhaust lol, its an invidia N1. I'm sure its just for labeling lol but just so you know.
Re: need help tuning!
Yeah this datalog isn't from our first calibration. If you want to post all the datalogs in question, I can find the one we need because the cam angle is locked to 0*. All your other ones will rotate the cam, so if you want to post the other two I can figure out which is ours.
I'll PM you my email address. The money is totally up to you man.
My bad on the exhaust, my brain saw "In..." and shut off, haha. I'll fix it in the next one. :)

yeah that's what I thought, the other was was hella big I think it had been running for a couple days. Too big to upload, and my theory is I turned it off right before I actually head out. I'll just do another one when I get the chance.EFICU wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:06 pm Yeah this datalog isn't from our first calibration.
