Using Flashpro on unknown flashed ECU Type-R FN2

Post by pcstuning »

Hi all,

Wonder if you can help. I have an FN2 type R in for dyno mapping on a customer bought flashpro. However, on first connection to lock ecu to the car, it advises that the ECU calibration is non-factory and should be returned to stock before locking to the car. Can this be carried out with the flashpro or would it require another method? 'Return to stock' option is greyed out due to me not being able to lock to the car/non stock calibration...

I'm not sure who previously mapped the ECU, but have been advised it was a preset ECU carried out with ECUtek software.

EDIT - Data pulled from Flashpro shows calibration ID as 37805-RSP-E120 and CVN 0x449C682C

Thanks, Paul

It will need to be returned to stock by Ecutek before you can use the FlashPro with it.

Thanks for the response. Had a feeling that would be the case. I'd assume it should be possible in bench/bootmode via ktag or similar if I can get hold of fully stock eeprom data? I have genuine ktag so will try.

No, you should contact Ecutek to get this returned to stock properly.
