Is there a way to actually adjust the dead times voltage numbers accurately? If I put 9.00 V it automatically jumps to 8.96 no matter how I put the number in..if I try to put in 13V it goes to 12.13V.
The RC Injectors spreadsheet gives a breakdown of what Voltage is per what dead time but I cannot get the SManager to stop correcting my inputs.
IS this supposed to happen?
Inject Dead Times Voltage
Re: Inject Dead Times Voltage
Typically you will not get them exactly. I usually try .1 volt more than what I want, you can usually get them close. At the end of the day it really doesn't matter. The injector dead time is a voltage/fuel compensation table. Unless you have a way to set/keep battery voltage at something other than 12 or 14 volts your just guessing anyways. Most of the dead times supplied are just calculations anyways. I do not know of any way to actually measure them properly. I have tuned hundreds of cars prior to the dead time tables being available and never had an issue that couldn't be resolved. I'm not saying its useless, but I think a lot of people put way to much emphasis on it. Just my two cents.

Re: Inject Dead Times Voltage
Awesome! Thank you for that information. I just did as you said & it seemed to run pretty well. Just messed with the dead times around 12-14V for a clean idle & all seems well.
Took the EK for a spin & the AFR's are actually pretty dead on.
Thank you!!
