Need help with basemap fbo fg2 while tuner is available
So i just installed the hybrid cai and did air assist delete i do have headers and exhaust and no hondata basemap is making my car run good or idle it turns off on its own and this is my daily. Im waiting for my tuner to get his shop/dyno back up. I put the aemv2 cai “basemap from hondata” and i got a p0171 code.
Any help would be appreciated it thank you very much

As long as you don't have an underlying issue I can help you with it. What was your goal with the idle assist delete?
Do you have time to try a basemap tonight to see if the idle is better?

Okay gotcha. Give this one a quick test, let it idle for say 5-10 minutes if it does idle fine se we can look over everything. Chances are it's the fact you were using a MAF based calibration which will not be proper for a Hybrid Racing intake setup, Hybrid intakes need to be speed density tuned on the MAP sensor. Should be a simple fix though, but give it a shot and let me know. Then we can talk about a tuning plan to get you held over until your tuner becomes available.

It turned on perfectly fine and idled good aswell it didnt struggle at all anymore! I kept it on for 10 mins and it didnt sound like shit anymore it was a smooth idle.
Re: Need help with basemap fbo fg2 while tuner is available
Okay good. What is your complete list of mods, obviously the HR intake, but what what else are we working with?
I should have told you I set the idle at 850 in my files, but if you want it at 750 we can do that. Sorry, hopefully that didn't freak you out. Haha

Re: Need help with basemap fbo fg2 while tuner is available
Sounds good. We can get it to where you can have some fun with it until then for sure. Attached is the first file for you. For datalogs, we need them to be in the 20-30 minute range with as much stop and go driving as possible. On the drive, we need one wide open throttle pull from 2500-8600 in third gear so we can work on the WOT fueling. It will take a few revisions to get it dialed, figure maybe 3-5 most likely. That will get it plenty good for you to enjoy until your tuner comes back for you. At the end, I can give you a file for RDX injectors to save for when you add the injectors, that way you don't have any issues when you do that. Unless your tuner can do it, just let me know.
So take this one for a spin and we'll see how it looks. Just be sure to follow the parameters I outlined above as close as you can and we'll go from there. For this first one, don't get too aggressive with the driving, keep it fairly normal driving with the one WOT pull until I get some data back. On the next revision you can get after it and have more fun. It will be close on the first drive here, I just like to see a datalog back before I turn you loose to drive it more aggressive. All the idle settings are the same as the last one, so it should start and idle just as nice.
Let me know if you have any questions. Vtec is at 4300 in this one, which should be a good start.

Alright that sounds amazing man i really appreciate that since this is my daily for work i was scared already lol. But if you dont mind where i live its 1 am already you think you'd be available tomorrow morning? I should be up by 8/9am latest and first thing in the morning ill send my data log to get started
Re: Need help with basemap fbo fg2 while tuner is available
Sounds good man, glad I can help out then. There is no way you were driving it to work the way it was, haha.
Yeah whatever works tomorrow, just send me a datalog whenever it's convenient for you. It's plenty close for you to drive it around and do whatever you need to, then make a datalog for us and post it up. My email is in the "calibrations" tab if you need to get a hold of me for some reason.

The moments in life that are supposed to be fun, then the car runs like garbage and we question why we love cars at all. Haha.
Yeah send over a datalog when you have one and we'll see how it looks. You're welcome man, happy to help. Glad Hondata has this forum so you guys can get the help you need.
