Why does hondata no longer offer trade-in credit on the k100? That was one reason I bought it first instead of buying kpro.

All k100 upgrades are handled by the dealer. Contact the dealer you purchased the k100 from.

I did. They were the ones who told me you aren't doing the upgrade option anymore. They said they would take my k100 with reduced credit towards kpro

There has never been an upgrade path from a k100 to K-Pro offered by Hondata. It has always been something that is the dealers option to offer at their discretion.
