Overall it looked good. Had some new knock pop up, same areas as before, but new none the less. I made a few changes for that. Take this one for a spin and we'll see how it looks.

No problem at all. I'm just nitpicking things at this point so you're all good. No need to take any chances in crappy whether, just keep me posted.

I see. In this datalog, we had 66 knock all the sudden and in random areas you didn't have knock before. My concern is you got poor gas, or lower octane than advertised. For now, throw this next revision in there and see if we can reduce the knock. Then, when you get some new gas we will go back to the prior revision and see what we get. It just doesn't make sense that we went from very little knock to 66 all the sudden, so we'll see how it goes and wait until you fill up again to do some more testing.

It could be I guess. Just when I see knock like that pop up after multiple revisions of low knock count, it usually tells me new fuel was introduced to the equation you know. But that's why we keep checking and rechecking, things happen. Again shows why one calibration to cover every car is impossible, haha. We'll see how it goes moving forward though. The ECU is pulling a bunch of timing to reduce the knock, so don't be surprised if it feels a little sluggish in some areas. The ECU is doing it's thing to proactively reduce or remove ignition to stop the knock.

Yeah so it could be bad gas, or it wasn't really 93, etc. It's hard to say. When you put new gas in, we will go back to the prior revision ans reinspect. If we still show knock, then we will address it. It's just weird that it showed up all the sudden and needed a lot of ignition adjustments in various places of the tables. It happens, poor gas or bad gas I have seen in a lot of cars I work on. As for it happening to the same car though, that is uncommon. Just saying with so many cars I work on, I have seen it a lot. So don't worry about it happening all the time.

No problem, that’s why we’ll go back and reinspect when you get gas again. Either way we’ll see what we get and go from there.

Only had a couple knock. Other than that it looked good. We'll see how it looks, and then just keep me posted on the next tank of gas. You don't necessarily need to switch stations if you like the one you normally go to. Things happen. But it's up to you.
