The great thing about the CRX is that it is so light, that you really do not need alot of tire to make it handle like its on rails.
I beleive the CRX comes with 185/60/14. you could prob bring that up to 195 or 205 width, seeing that you have the mugen rims, but speak to your tire guy to get the proper aspect ratio, you dont want to be too much taller or shorter than stock since the crx has great gearing as is.
in my opinion, hands down the best bang for the buck is the Falken Azenis. I have them on my GSR, and on my Evo, the tires are sick. If you want to spend even more you can look at a toyo RA-1 or Advan AO32R, but you will spend considerable more, and they will wear much faster. of course any of these wont get you far in anything over 1 or 2 inches of snow, but i dont know where you live.
let us know what you end up doing, and send some pics if you have them! You can always tool around on discounttiredirect.com they carry the falkens, so you can see them, but you should buy them from your local guy, since you need someone to mount them.
